For the past 2 years I’d definitely had tech issues with my Pavlok, I think I had to warranty replace it about every 5ish months. I recently upgraded to the Pavlok 3, and it is so lovely! It’s like getting your first iPhone after having a flip phone your whole life. I really thought it would wake me up no matter what though and it doesn’t, but idk I’m still for it. However, I still think this was a good purchase. It was pretty expensive, I think I paid $130 on Amazon just over two weeks ago. On days it is possible to wake up at all, it helps a ton because it causes a rush of adrenaline. So it doesn’t seem like it’d be able to wake someone on the days where you can be pulled out of bed by your arms and not wake up. I thought it would work all the time, but I guess on days where I literally can’t wake up it can’t stop that. I had the notification to prove that it did go off, though. I think I disabled it, but I’m not sure because I don’t remember it going off. My half asleep self registers the zaps as burning, like something hot but not fire-levels of hot. I’ve always had issues with adjusting to alarms, so it’s not super far fetched to think I’d adjust to this. You can adjust the shock intensity, which is great because right now I’ve got it set to 50% and could increase the strength if I manage to get used to sleeping through that.
